MECS provides assessment for many common eye conditions through your local optician. The optician can help with conditions like:

• Red eye or eyelid
• Dry eye or eye discomfort
• Sudden reduced vision in one or both eyes
• Sudden increase of flashes and floaters
• Ingrowing eyelashes
• Foreign body in the eye
• Significant recent sticky discharge or watery eyes
• Recent occurrence of double vision
